His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Mawlavi Fazil Mohammad Haqani, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Iran.
At the outset, Ambassador Haqani provided a comprehensive report on the activities and performance of the Afghan Embassy in Iran.
He emphasized that the embassy in Tehran, along with its consulates in other cities, is committed to serving Afghan refugees and addressing their challenges.
He further stated that, in accordance with the directives of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the embassy continues to work diligently to strengthen and enhance bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Iran.
Welcoming the ambassador, Deputy Prime Minister underscored the deep religious, cultural, historical, economic, and social ties between the two nations.
He reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to ensuring that the Afghan Embassy in Iran actively supports Afghan refugees and works to resolve their problems.
