Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Meets with Khalazai Tribal Leaders and Elders

The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, held a meeting today with the elders and prominent figures of the Khalazai tribe from Parwan Province.

The meeting, conducted at Spidar Palace, The Khalazai tribal leaders commend the Islamic Emirate’s efforts to address tribal concerns. They noted the severe losses their community endured during the Western occupation, which resulted in the displacement of many families.

However, with the establishment of the Sharia-based governance system, these families have been able to return to their homes.

The Khalazai tribal elders highlighted the historical discriminatory treatment their community faced and emphasized that the region’s residents remain deprived of basic services.

They further pointed out that the previous administration and foreign entities had marginalized their area.

During the meeting, the tribal representatives submitted formal requests for the initiation of development projects, including access to drinking water, schools, roads, hospitals, and other critical infrastructure.

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Khalazai tribe in support of the Sharia-based governance system.

He emphasized that many of the Afghan people’s aspirations have been realized under the leadership of the Islamic Emirate.

He reaffirmed that discriminatory practices have no place within the framework of Sharia law and emphasized that all tribes enjoy equal rights under the Islamic Emirate.

His Excellency stressed that no Afghan should feel marginalized, assuring the public that the Islamic Emirate is committed to utilizing all available resources to serve the people.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister assured the tribal elders that their proposals would be thoroughly reviewed and necessary instructions would be issued to the relevant authorities.
