The first meeting for the establishment of the High Commission for the fight against intoxicants and narcotics was held under the chairmanship of Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Prime Minister.
In this meeting, while discussing the procedures of the High Commission for the fight against intoxicants and narcotics, Mawlawi Abdul Haq Akhund Hamkar, deputy minister of the fight against narcotics of the Ministry of Interior, shared the report of his achievements with the political deputy of the Prime Minister.
In this meeting, Mr. Hamkar said that all the poppy fields were destroyed and a large number of drug workers and carriers were also arrested.
He also added that the activities of the Islamic Emirate against drugs have been successful and the international community also acknowledges this success.
The political deputy of the Prime Minister said in this meeting that the purpose of establishing a high commission to fight against intoxicants and narcotics is to effectively fight against narcotics at the country level, to find alternative cultivation for farmers and to treat addicts in order to achieve the stated goals the relevant departments in coordination work with each other.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir also presented his theories about the procedure of the High Commission to fight against intoxicants and narcotics and its enrichment and gave the necessary suggestions regarding the agenda of the future meetings of the participants.
At the end of this meeting, the political deputy of the Prime Minister said that the position of the Islamic Emirate in the fight against drugs is clear and no one is allowed to cultivate, produce and smuggle drugs.
