France to Provide Ukraine with $211M in Military Aid Using Frozen Russian Assets

France will allocate €195 million ($211 million) in military aid to Ukraine, funded by interest from frozen Russian assets, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced.

In an interview with La Tribune on Saturday, Lecornu stated that the aid package will include 155-mm artillery shells and AASM gliding bombs for Ukrainian Mirage 2000 aircraft.

He also noted that France is accelerating the transfer of older military equipment, including tanks and armored vehicles, to support Ukraine’s defense efforts.
