As part of the high-level delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s visit to Uzbekistan, Noor Ahmad Agha, General Head of Afghanistan’s Central Bank, met with Timur Ashmetov, Governor of Uzbekistan’s Central Bank.
Noor Ahmad Agha emphasized the benefits of strengthening banking relations between the two countries, stating that enhanced cooperation in the banking sector could pave the way for greater trade growth.
In response, Timur Ashmetov highlighted the crucial role of the banking sector in facilitating trade and assured full cooperation in advancing financial ties between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
