H.E Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, presided over the 20th Cabinet meeting, which took place yesterday.
The session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by comprehensive discussions on key economic, social, and cultural matters affecting the country, during which relevant decisions were made based on these deliberations.
During the meeting, a delegation led by Haji Abdul Qahir, head of the National Statistics and Information Authority, was assigned to organize a session on the national population census.
The delegation is expected to examine all aspects of the proposed plan and submit the final report to the Cabinet.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing was tasked with accelerating the procedures related to the design and approval of construction projects.
It is worth mentioning that the Cabinet meeting concluded with prayers for success, after thorough discussions and decisions on several key matters.
