Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced on Monday that it had completed the release of 20 living Israeli hostages, Anadolu reported.
The hostages were handed over to Red Cross teams in two groups within the Gaza Strip.
Under the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, 1,968 Palestinian prisoners—including 250 serving life sentences—are set to be released in exchange for the freed Israeli hostages.
