The media office of the Herat provincial government announced that a local manufacturing company has exported its first shipment of 50 tons of jams and pickles to the United States.
The total value of this shipment is $30,000, and the office noted that the company’s products are also scheduled for export to European countries in the coming months.
Meanwhile, the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment reported that in the first eight months of this year, the province’s exports reached $60 million, a threefold increase compared to the same period last year.
