A high-level Iranian economic and trade delegation, led by Sayed Mohammad Atabak, Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade, has arrived in Kabul.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the purpose of the visit is to address challenges and obstacles hindering bilateral trade, and to explore ways of facilitating transit and promoting joint investments.
During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with officials from the Deputy Ministry of Economy, as well as the Ministries of Industry and Commerce, Mines and Petroleum, and Public Utilities.
They will also engage with members of Afghanistan’s private sector and visit key sites, including the railway, mining projects, and Islam Qala Port in Herat.
