His Highness Amir al-Mu’mineen has approved a budget of 148 million Afghanis for the construction of a modern 100-bed hospital in Panjshir Province, marking a significant step forward in strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region.
According to the Panjshir provincial government, the hospital will be constructed as a three-story facility in the Baharak area. It is set to provide comprehensive medical services, including general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, and specialized eye and ear care.
The facility will also feature a dedicated operating theater, a fully equipped pharmacy, an X-ray department, a spacious patient waiting area, and other essential medical and support services, ensuring quality healthcare access for the residents of Panjshir and surrounding areas.
This project reflects the leadership’s ongoing commitment to expanding vital public services and improving the well-being of the compatriots.
