Shaikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, stated that strong leadership and timely decisions by the esteemed leaders of the Islamic Emirate have led to the eradication of drug cultivation and consumption in the country.
Mr. Munir made these remarks during a meeting with Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, and emphasized the significant role of religious scholars and the media in preventing drug use and cultivation.
Meanwhile, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir praised the ongoing counter-narcotics efforts and highlighted the importance of providing training for young returnees and treatment for addicts.
