In Kabul Industrial Park, a national businessman has built serum manufacturing factories worth 25 million US dollars

Afghan industry has significantly grown in the last 20 years, achieving self-sufficiency in hundreds of fields, including medicines.

A national businessman has invested $25 million in building serum factories in Pul-e-Charkhi Industrial Park, producing 25 types of serum.

The factory officials claim that the serum quality surpasses regional and neighboring standards, meeting international quality benchmarks and fulfilling domestic demand.

They urge the government to further support domestic production.

Laboratory department officials conduct rigorous natural tests on serum materials before production to ensure quality.

These factories have provided employment to 400 youths. Currently, there are 75 pharmaceutical factories in Afghanistan producing 950 medicine units, meeting 25% of the market’s needs, as per the Association of Domestic Medicines.
