UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss regional and global developments and bilateral relations.
The Iranian Foreign Minister described the recent statements by US officials as blatant interference in Iran’s internal affairs and stressed the need to defend Iran’s national sovereignty and security against any foreign interference.
At the same time, the UAE Foreign Minister stressed the importance of continuous consultations between Iran, the UAE and regional countries to strengthen regional stability and security.
