The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns the ongoing airstrikes by the Zionist regime on Syria’s sovereign territory, deeming these actions as a blatant violation of Syria’s freedom & independence.
In the aftermath of the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, the Zionist settler regime, in continuation of its crimes, has carried out aggression against the Syrian territory and numerous airstrikes targeting both military infrastructure and civilian areas have caused large-scale casualties and destruction.
Such actions are an extension of the Zionist regime’s unsuccessful strategy of pursuing illegitimate objectives in various Middle East countries.
IEA-MOFA, while affirming its support for an independent Syrian government in line with the aspiration of its people, calls on all involved regional and international powers to let the Syrian people freely and independently determine their nation’s future and to take the fate of their country into their own hands without any external pressures and impositions.
