Israeli forces detained 64 Palestinians, including children as young as seven, during a raid in eastern Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.
The arrests came just a day after the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners under a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal with Gaza resistance factions.
Eyewitness accounts reported that Israeli soldiers stormed homes and a mosque in the town of Azzun, forcing shop owners to close their businesses and detaining residents, some of whom were children.
Those arrested were made to lie face down in a public square before being marched to a military camp.
Clashes erupted during the raid, with Israeli forces firing live ammunition and tear gas in residential areas. At least three residents were hospitalized following alleged beatings by soldiers.
The ongoing ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which halted a prolonged offensive, has heightened tensions across the occupied West Bank, where clashes and military raids continue.
Casualty figures from recent violence in Gaza and the West Bank remain a point of significant concern.
