Israeli forces have intensified their assault on Gaza, martyring at least 50 people since midnight, following military orders for residents of Khan Younis in southern Gaza to evacuate ahead of what has been described as an “unprecedented attack.”
In response to the renewed offensive, the leaders of Canada, France, and the United Kingdom have warned Israel that they may take “concrete action,” including possible sanctions, if the operation does not cease.
Meanwhile, 22 countries have called on Israel to allow the immediate entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave.
