Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced that the planned release of 620 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday has been paused “until the release of the next hostages is guaranteed, and without the rituals of humiliation.”
Earlier, Hamas criticized the delay, stating that Israel’s failure to release the seventh batch of Palestinian detainees “at the agreed-upon time constitutes a blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement.
