The Ministry of Water and Energy announced that the Kamal Khan Dam is scheduled to be inaugurated and put into operation today (Wednesday, February 5) in the presence of high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate.
The ministry added that the dam, which is vital for water management, agricultural development, and energy production, represents a significant step toward Afghanistan’s stability and economic growth.
According to the Ministry of Water and Energy, the inauguration of this dam will enhance agricultural facilities, irrigation, and electricity generation for the people of the region, playing a crucial role in the country’s economic development.
