A delegation led by Afghanistan’s Deputy Minister of Energy at the Ministry of Water and Energy met with the Deputy Minister of Water and Energy of Kyrgyzstan to discuss cooperation in the energy sector.
According to the Ministry of Water and Energy, the meeting focused on the progress of the CASA-1000 project in Afghanistan. The Kyrgyz deputy minister reaffirmed his country’s readiness to assist Afghanistan in modernizing its power grid, expanding electricity generation from various sources, and reducing power losses.
