Bekit Sydykov, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Economy and Commerce, said during a meeting with Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy Prime Minister, that his country is interested in cooperating with the Islamic Emirate in the areas of e-governance, printing of securities, establishing banking relations, and electronic payment systems.
Sydykov described the development of bilateral economic and trade relations as a reflection of the deep friendship between the two countries, adding that a number of Kyrgyz traders and investors are interested in trade and investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated that the Islamic Emirate considers the digitalization of government systems and the establishment of banking channels between the two countries to be important.
