A huge explosion and fire struck Bandar Abbas, a port city in Iran, with the blast reportedly centered at Rajaei port, state media said.
The cause of the explosion remains unknown, and authorities have not yet confirmed details about casualties, according to the Associated Press.
Videos circulating on social media show a massive plume of black smoke rising from the site, with reports of damage to nearby buildings.
Rajaei port primarily handles container traffic and also houses oil tanks and petrochemical facilities.
