Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy to the Prime Minister, attended an iftar gathering with a number of political analysts and media figures.
During the event, Mr. Hanafi commended the efforts of political analysts and noted that the current Islamic system is the result of the sacrifices of the Afghan people, emphasizing that all citizens remain united in safeguarding and protecting it.
He stated: “We do not seek war or conflict with any country and, based on mutual respect, we aim to maintain constructive relations with neighboring states, regional countries, and the international community. However, should our national sovereignty be violated, defending the nation and the system becomes an obligation for all.”
Mr. Hanafi also expressed regret over civilian casualties resulting from recent attacks, noting that the conflict has been imposed on Afghanistan. He added that, with the support and consultation of the people, existing threats have thus far been successfully confronted.
