Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi: The actions of academic figures in different universities of the country show the world the capabilities of Afghanistan.

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister, during a visit to Badakhshan Province, participated and delivered a speech at the National Tourist Attractions Conference, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and the University of Badakhshan, yesterday.

At the beginning, the Administrative Deputy Prime Minister appreciated the Ministry of Higher Education, provincial officials, and Badakhshan University’s officials for organizing the conference.

The Administrative Deputy Prime Minister said: It is an opportunity of immense pleasure that academicians from all around the country have gathered in Badakhshan and presented their articles regarding Afghanistan’s tourism sector and spots.

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, while reminding us of the achievements of the Islamic Emirate in various fields, added that the IEA strives to connect Afghanistan to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) project through various corridors, especially the Wakhan Corridor.

The Administrative Deputy Prime Minister further added that Afghanistan has abundant natural resources, with historical sites of Islamic and non-Islamic civilizations in different provinces, a diverse climate, charming scenery, and unique tourism spots.

H.E. Hanafi stated that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is willing to maintain friendly relations based on the principle of non-interference with all neighboring countries in political, economic, and cultural fields. He reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate’s commitment that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against anyone.

The Administrative Deputy Prime Minister addressed the Afghans living abroad and said, Afghanistan is a common home for all of us, and urged them to return and contribute to the development of Afghanistan.
