Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan, Obaidur Rahman Nizamani, met with Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi to discuss political and economic matters between the two countries, according to the Afghan Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, Minister Muttaqi expressed concern over the forced deportation of Afghan migrants and the mistreatment of some Afghan officials, describing these actions as provocative and harmful to bilateral relations.
He called for an immediate change in this approach.
In response, Ambassador Nizamani acknowledged the concerns of the Islamic Emirate and assured that he would raise the issue with the relevant Pakistani authorities.
The meeting concluded with both sides emphasizing the importance of constructive cooperation and the exchange of high-level delegations to strengthen ties, the Ministry added.
