Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan and Pakistan Discuss Strengthening Diplomatic Ties
In a telephone conversation, Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, discussed the enhancement of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that both sides viewed the elevation of diplomatic missions to the ambassadorial level in Kabul and Islamabad as a positive development and expressed hope for the swift completion of the remaining steps.
According to Mr. Takal, the two leaders also emphasized that strengthening diplomatic relations would lay the foundation for broader cooperation across various sectors.
