A session of the Economic Commission, chaired by the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, was held.
The meeting took place today, April 16, 2025, at the Marmarin Palace. During the meeting, relevant ministries and institutions presented their reports and prepared implementation plans regarding the 13 decisions made in the special session of the Economic Commission chaired by the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah protect him).
In the aforementioned special session of the Economic Commission, it was assigned to a committee led by the Directorate of Administrative Affairs to develop a comprehensive strategy for the allocation of lands that are purely state-owned and designated for residential and commercial purposes, and for which some preliminary urban planning and infrastructural work has already been carried out.
The aim is to allocate these lands to citizens in a legal and regulated manner.
Furthermore, the committee was tasked with drafting a comprehensive plan for residential townships that have been legally confirmed and cleared by the Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing and the Restitution of Grabbed Lands.
These lands are to be legally granted to citizens for construction and development in accordance with the urban master plan.
The committee is also required to facilitate and simplify the process of development and construction on privately owned lands in alignment with the urban plan.
The assigned committee prepared a comprehensive plan for the first and second clauses of the said decision and presented it in today’s special session of the Economic Commission.
The committee has also introduced significant facilitation measures in the area of development and construction on private lands.
Moreover, in accordance with the decision made during the special session of the Economic Commission chaired by the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah protect him), the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock has initiated the land transfer process to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in all provinces, including the capital, for the establishment of industrial parks. This process is expected to be completed soon, after which the construction of industrial parks will begin.
In this session, the relevant ministries and institutions also presented their reports and prepared implementation plans regarding the 13 decisions made in the special session of the Economic Commission chaired by the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah protect him).
These reports and plans will be submitted to the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah protect him) for final approval.
