The Minister of Higher Education, Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Khwaja Yadgar Shadmanov, in Kabul to discuss the development of academic relations between both countries.
During the meeting, Minister Nadeem highlighted Uzbekistan’s role as a key partner in various fields, particularly in higher education, due to the strong religious and cultural ties between the countries.
He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan manages its internal and external affairs in accordance with its religious and cultural values.
Minister Nadeem also expressed gratitude to Ambassador Shadmanov for Uzbekistan’s efforts in constructing a new seminary and mosque in Balkh province, underscoring the importance of continued cooperation in such initiatives.
Ambassador Shadmanov shared his plans regarding higher education and engaged in a productive discussion on various topics with Minister Nadeem.
He also extended an invitation for the Minister to visit Uzbekistan’s scientific, academic, and cultural centers at an appropriate time, which was warmly received by Minister Nadeem.
