Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with the OIC Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mohammad Saeed Al-Ayash, to discuss strengthening cooperation in the health sector.
The talks highlighted the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for Afghanistan’s health programs and future initiatives.
Minister Jalali praised the OIC’s valuable role in the Islamic world, urging the organization to convey the needs of the Afghan people in health to the international community.
He emphasized that access to healthcare is a basic right and should remain separate from politics.
Ambassador Al-Ayash reaffirmed the OIC’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and supporting Afghanistan’s health system.
