Kabul, Afghanistan – The Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, has announced the deployment of a mobile health team to Torkham to provide eye disease treatment services.
The team, fully equipped with advanced medical supplies and equipment, is tasked with offering essential healthcare to returning citizens affected by eye-related issues.
In a statement, Minister Jalali emphasized the importance of providing high-quality medical services to the returning citizens and instructed the team to prioritize the treatment of eye diseases.
Nearly 12 health centers are currently operational at Torkham to assist returning citizens, and additional health services are being provided in areas near Kandahar, Nimroz, and other border regions.
