Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Doha, met with Vinessa Matar, the Deputy High Commissioner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The Afghan Embassy in Qatar said that during the meeting, the two sides discussed the problems faced by returnees as well as the humanitarian assistance provided by the High Commissioner’s office.
During the meeting, Mohammad Suhail Shaheen expressed hope that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees would further strengthen its humanitarian role.
