Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, stated at the investment call ceremony in Afghanistan that, based on the decree of His Highness Amir al-Mu’mineen, a procedure has been approved to regulate privileges and facilities for investors and traders returning to the country.
According to Mr. Baradar, this procedure has been approved with the aim of fully supporting the private sector and providing investment opportunities for investors and traders.
Under this procedure, along with other privileges, investors and traders returning to the country will enjoy a five-year tax exemption, and their imported equipment and machinery will also be exempt from customs duties.
Additionally, two-year visas will be issued to foreign employees and engineers of these investors.
