Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, visited Panjshir province to inaugurate the Parenda hydroelectric dam.
During his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister met with Panjshir Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim and commended the progress and development achieved in the province since the return of the Islamic Emirate.
The Parenda Bazarak hydroelectric dam, with a generation capacity of 4 megawatts, is being inaugurated and commissioned today by the Deputy Prime Minister and officials from Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (the national power company). Local officials described the project as a significant step toward ensuring sustainable electricity supply and boosting industrial, agricultural, and commercial growth in the province
