Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa visited the historical and cultural areas of Paktia province during his visit.
Mr. Khairkhwa, accompanied by Mullah Abdul Haq Akhundzada, Deputy Minister for the fight against narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Mullah Mehrullah Hamad, Governor of Paktia, and other local officials, visited various sites including Gardiz Balahisar and the shrines of Shabwal Hassan Kharqani.
He expressed his commitment to providing comprehensive facilities for tourists in all tourist, historical, and recreational areas of Paktia.
The Minister mentioned that a hotel is currently under construction in the White Sand Park of Zazi Aryob District and will soon be operational.
He also assured that efforts are underway in collaboration with ministries, private companies, and relevant agencies to enhance the protection and beauty of the area.
Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa emphasized the importance of reconstruction works at Gardiz Balahisar to eliminate the threat of collapse.
Additionally, he visited the Department of Information and Culture of the province and commended their efforts.
