Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, met the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam of neighboring country Pakistan, Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, and his delegation at the Charchinar Palace of the Arg, before noon today. The Chief Justice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Sheikh Al Hadith Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Haqqani, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of hajj and Endowments Sheikh Al Hadith Mawlawi Noor Mohammad Saqib and some other members of the cabinet also participated in this visit.
In this meeting, various topics were discussed with the delegation of Pakistani scholars.
Prime Minister welcomed the delegation of Pakistani scholars and expressed hope that this trip will lead to the strengthening of brotherhood and positive relations between the two neighboring countries and brotherly people
He stated that there are numerous similarities between Afghanistan and Pakistan in a variety of domains these nations are not separated from each other, maybe there will be problems in the relations between the governments, but the nations and scholars are united because of common values and It cannot be separated from the other.
Prime minister, added that Alhamdulillah the Islamic system is ruling in Afghanistan. The scholars are at the head of the power. We refer every issue to the Sharia, the Sharia, which is the divine law, prevents us from hurting anyone. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan does not intend to cause harm or create problems to any neighboring country, including Pakistan, nor does it allow anyone to threaten foreign countries through our territory.
Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund called the role of scholars important and positive in resolving the problems between the two countries and eliminating the misunderstandings.
He also mentioned that the Pakistani authorities should stop their cruel attitude towards the Afghan refugees, because this kind of attitude does not solve the problems, but only increases the opposition and pessimism.
In the meeting, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi also mentioned the problems of Afghan merchants in addition to the problems of Afghan refugees, the problems created by Pakistani officials in transit and exports, which cause heavy financial losses to Afghan traders every year and he emphasized that the trade or economic transaction between the two countries should not be a victim of political issues.
Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, leader of Jamiat Ulema Islam, spoke on behalf of the delegation.
He called the victory of the Islamic Emirate against the occupation a great victory and congratulated to the Afghan nation.
Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, has expressed hope that the Islamic system in Afghanistan will become more stable, so that the entire Islamic world will benefit from its blessings.
He stated that our goal in visiting Afghanistan is to clear up any misunderstandings that may exist between the two nations and to identify areas of mutual development, trade, economic cooperation, and political relations.
Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, added that the Jamiat Ulema Islam has raised a voice of protest against the attitude of the Pakistani authorities towards the Afghan refugees and referred to this mindset as incorrect and the root of the issues that exist between the two nations. We have brought a message of goodwill here and hope that this trip will have positive results.
During this discussion, it was made clear that both nations needed to work together to find solutions to all of their problems and avoid taking any actions that would only make matters worse.
