The National Statistics and Information Authority recorded the entry and exit of 2,396 foreign nationals through the country’s airports and land ports in the month of Jaddi from Dec 22 to Jan 22, 2025.
According to the recorded data, 1,227 foreign nationals, including 43 women, entered the country during this period, while 1,169 others, including 25 women, exited Afghanistan.
On the other hand, the data shows that 1,218 individuals entered via land ports and 9 others via airports. Among these, 118 individuals came to visit Afghanistan’s ancient and historical sites, while the remaining arrived for work purposes.
According to the recorded data of the authority, the majority of foreign nationals (828) entered the country through Nimroz port, followed by 303 through the land ports and airports of Herat province. The remaining entered through Aqina port in Faryab, Balkh airport, and others through Hairatan port.
