The Ministry of Public Health says a polio vaccination campaign has begun today (Monday, 15 December of the current year) in Kabul and several provinces across the country.
According to the ministry, the campaign targets children under the age of five to prevent the spread of the dangerous polio disease and protect them from permanent paralysis.
The Ministry of Public Health has called on all citizens to cooperate fully with vaccination teams and ensure that every child under five receives the polio vaccine.
