Qatar’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, warned during the 23rd Doha Forum that negotiations over a ceasefire in Gaza are in a “critical” condition.
He stated: “A ceasefire cannot be achieved unless there is a full withdrawal of Israeli forces, stability is restored in Gaza, and people are able to move freely — which is not the case today.”
Meanwhile, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, said at the forum that Ankara is ready to do whatever is necessary to support ongoing efforts toward a ceasefire and peace in Gaza.
The 23rd Doha Forum, held under the theme “Justice in Action: Beyond Promises for Progress,” began today in Qatar, with an estimated 6,000 participants from more than 150 countries expected to attend.
