Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Security Council, Vasily Nebenzia, said that despite ongoing and harmful sanctions, the Islamic Emirate is working to expand regional cooperation and move Afghanistan toward self-sufficiency.
He stressed that the international community should adopt a realistic and comprehensive approach to Afghanistan and engage with the Islamic Emirate based on mutual trust.
