The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as the establishment of mechanisms aimed at promoting lasting peace and stability between the two neighboring countries.
In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia will continue its efforts to support security, stability, and prosperity for both the Afghan and Pakistani nations.
The ministry also expressed appreciation for the diplomatic efforts and constructive roles played by the governments of Qatar and Türkiye in facilitating the agreement.
