Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Saturday, 10/28/1446, corresponding to 2/6/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

294 families returned to the country through Torkham and 1600 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

310 families with 1687 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul and (757,000) Afghanis have also been provided to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (2812,000) Afghanis have been provided to 346 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, short-term settlement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 1050 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

214 families with 894 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and were registered.

Transportations committee

194 families with 1046 members were safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Herat, Paktika, Paktia, Ghazni and Kabul, and (687,500) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1626,000) Afghanis have been provided to 191 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 1886 food items, bread and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 516 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 327 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Communications Services Administration.

Helmand

Bahramcha

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

12 families with 62 members have returned to the country and registered through Baharamcha.

These families were provided with food and other services and after receiving cash assistance from the Islamic Emirate, they were safely transported to their respective regions.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

26 families with 128 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1005 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (218,000) Afghanis have been provided to 26 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 26 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

26 families with 114 members returned to the country through Islam Qala and registered them.

Financial management Committee

A total of (222,000) Afghanis have been provided to 28 families by the Financial management Committee.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (562) families and (2,736) individuals

Transferred refugees: (504) families and (2,733) individuals

Assistance provided to refugees: (591) families

SIM cards distributed: (1,403) units
