Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Tuesday, 11/8/1446, corresponding to 2/16/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

295 families returned to the country through Torkham and 2300 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

156 families with 846 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul and (505600) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1384000) Afghanis have been provided to 167 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 671 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

221 families with 1152 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and registered them.

Transportations committee

93 families with 494 members were safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Herat, Paktika, Paktia, Ghazni and Kabul, and (411400) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 712 food items and water were distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 393 returning refugees were treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 180 SIM cards were distributed to the returning refugees free of charge by the Telecommunication Services Administration, which also included free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

155 families with 675 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1431 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1172,000) Afghanis have been provided to 153 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 155 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Paktika

Angoor Ada (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Paktika Angoor Ada, 4 families with 22 members have returned to the country and registered.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Paktika Angoor Ada. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Helmand

Bahramcha

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Bahramcha, 16 families with 85 members have returned to the country and registered.

These families have been transferred to their areas and cash assistance was also provided to them.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 243 families with 950 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1,776,000) Afghanis have been provided to 240 families by the Financial management Committee.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (934) families and (5,184) individuals

Transferred refugees: (249) families and (1,348) individuals

Assisted refugees: (560) families

Distributed SIM cards: (1,006) numbers
