Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Monday, 11/28/1446, corresponding to 3/5/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

53 families returned to the country through Torkham and 430 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

48 families with 231 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul and (157,800) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (788,000) Afghanis have been provided to 103 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 220 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

50 families with 240 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and registered.

Transportations committee

24 families with 136 members were safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, Herat, Ghazni and Kabul, and (124,000) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (490,000) Afghanis have been provided to 58 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 306 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 546 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 69 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

192 families with 842 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1482 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transportations committee

3 families with 10 members from Nimroz have been safely transported to Farah and (15,000) fares have been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1458,000) Afghanis have been provided to 187 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 1103 migrants returning from the Abrishom way have been treated.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

457 families with 1789 members have returned to the country and registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (3338,000) Afghanis have been provided to 455 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

100 families with 576 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Paktia, Khost, Laghman, Nangarhar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Samangan, Balkh, Badakhshan, Faryab and Sar-e-Pul, and (334,700) Afghanis have also been provided as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (752) families and (3301) individuals

Transferred refugees: (175) families and (953) individuals

Assisted refugees: (803) families

Distributed SIM cards: (289) units
