Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 18/12/1446, corresponding to 25/3/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

99 families returned to the country through Torkham and 425 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

47 families with 213 members have been safely transported from Torkham to different provinces and (1,462,000) Afghanis have also been provided to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (750,000) Afghanis have been provided to 96 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary settlement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 209 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

40 families with 221 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and were registered.

Transportation committee

30 families with 167 members were safely transported to different provinces from Spin Boldak and these families were also paid (210,000) Afghanis as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (338,000) Afghanis have been provided to 40 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 367 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 163 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 22 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

6 families with 23 members from Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 515 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transporations committee

12 families from Nimroze have been safely transported to different provinces and (60,000) fares have been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (400,000) Afghanis have been provided to 6 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 454 migrants returning from the Abrishom way have been treated.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

95 families with 390 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (702,000) Afghanis have been provided to 93 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

28 families with 149 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Logar, Paktika, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Samangan, Balkh, Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul and (64,200) Afghanis have been paid as rent.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (240) families and (1059) individuals

Transferred refugees: (117) families and (529) individuals

Helped refugees: (235) families

Distributed SIM cards: (231) numbers
