Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Sunday, 29/1/1446, which coincides with 14/5/1403, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Today 30 families returned to the country through Torkham and 150 members of these families have been registered and biometric.

Transportation committee

From Torkham 12 families with 63 members were safely transported to Nangarhar and Kabul provinces and 47,000 Afghanis rent was also paid to these families.

Finance Management Committee

22 families were helped by the Financial Affairs Committee, which totals 178,000 Afghanis.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

In the Torkham age camp, returning refugees are provided with different services, including health:

Communications: 73 SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Today, 60 families with a total of 301 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

Today 4 families from Spin Boldak, whose number of members was 18, were safely transferred to Kabul province and (9000 Afghanis) rent was also paid.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (470,000 Afghanis) was given to 59 families in Taktha Pul Camp by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 33 families have been settled in the temporary camp of Taktha pul agreement.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 504 meals and clean water were given to the refugees in Spin Boldak.

Health: 148 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also 356 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: Tents, blankets and blankets have been distributed to refugees in temporary camps as needed.

Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 175 sim cards to the returned refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Today 58 families with the number of members 192 returned to the country and were registered through the Abrishom way, and also 1452 travelers came to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (320,000) financial assistance was given to 49 families today by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

In Nimroz 95 families were settled in a temporary agreement camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

Different services were provided to the returning refugees in Nimroz today:

Communications: 58-digit SIM cards, with free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returned refugees.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees in the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Today, 33 families with a total of 69 members returned to the country and were registered through the Islam Fort.

Finance Management Committee

Today, 23 families in Islam Qala Bandar were helped by (142,000) Afghanis by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 29 families were settled in a temporary agreement camp in Herat.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (181) families, (712) individuals

Deported refugees: (16) families, (81) individuals

Assisted migrants: (153) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (157) families

Shared SIM Cards: (306) Digits
