Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Monday, 1446/3/27, which coincides with 1403/7/9, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

17 families returned to the country through Torkham and 83 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

12 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 58, have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar provinces, and these families have been given 46,000 Afghani rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (128,000 Afghanis) is given to 16 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 15 families have been settled in Torkham Omari camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp:

Food: 290 food and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 217 returned refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 88-digit SIM cards, with free minutes and internet bundles activated, have been distributed to the returnees.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

25 families with 88 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

Two 12 families from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar and Paktika provinces, and 3,500 Afghanis have been paid to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (198,000) Afghanis is given to 26 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 24 families have been settled in Taktha Pul camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 264 food and water are distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 68 returned refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also, 148 refugees have been given public awareness in different fields of health.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

106 families whose members were 466 have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 1295 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (767,000) Afghanis has been given to 98 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 106 families have been settled in Nimroz temporary camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: Communications and Information Technology officials have distributed 106 SIM cards to the refugees for free, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

198 families with 781 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (1,468,000 Afghanis) has been given to 197 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary Settlement Committee

Today 27 families have been settled in Islam Qala camp.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

From Kabul 11 families with 68 members have been safely transported to Kunduz, Balkh, Takhar, Jawzjan and Baghlan provinces and 34,900 Afghani rent has been given to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (346) families and (1418) individuals

Transported refugees: (25) families and (138) individuals

Assisted migrants: (337) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (172) families

Shared SIM Cards: (194) Digits
