Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Tuesday, 1446/3/28, which coincides with 1403/7/10, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and were provided necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Torkham, 24 families have returned to the country and 110 members of these families have been registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

From Torkham 12 families with 58 members have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar provinces and these families have been given 50,500 Afghani rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (178,000 Afghanis) is given to 23 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Food: 274 food and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 340 returnees have been treated in Torkham.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

32 families with 166 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (248,000 Afghanis) is given to 41 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 216 food and water are distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 91 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also, 368 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Communications: From the Telecommunication Services Agency, 72 SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

121 families with the number of members 497 have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and registered and also 1918 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (830,000 Afghanis) has been given to 112 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: Communications and Information Technology officials have distributed 121 SIM cards to the refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

142 families with 585 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (1044,000) Afghanis has been given to 139 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

6 families with 28 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Kunduz, Balkh, Takhar, Jawzjan and Baghlan provinces and these families have been given 7500 Afghani rent.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (319) families and (1358) individuals

Transported refugees: (18) families and (86) individuals

Assisted migrants: (313) families

Split SIM Cards: (193) Digits
