Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Tuesday, the date of 1446/4/5, which coincides with 1403/7/17, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided necessary services in different areas.

The Full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

30 families returned to the country through Torkham and 169 members of these families have been registered and biometric.

Transportation committee

17 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 115, have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Laghman and Kabul provinces, and (85,300) Afghanis have been paid to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (208,000 Afghanis) is given to 24 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 21 families have been settled in Torkham’s Omari camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Food: 250 food and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 146 returned refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 97-digit SIM cards, with free minutes and internet packages activated, have been distributed to the returnees.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

38 families with 205 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

1 family from Spin Boldak, whose number of members was 4 people, has been safely transferred to Paktika province and these families have been given (6000 Afghani) rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (310,000 Afghanis) is given to 36 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 15 families have been settled in the camp of Taktha Pul.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 152 food and water are distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 78 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also, 243 refugees have been given public awareness in different fields of health.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Communication: From the Telecommunication Services Agency, 57 SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

98 families whose members were 414 have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 1272 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (720,000) Afghanis has been given to 93 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 98 families have been settled in Nimroz temporary camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communication: 98-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, by the officials of communication and information technology.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

139 families with 535 members returned to the country and were registered through the Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (968,000 Afghanis) has been given to 135 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 169 families have been settled in Islam Qala camp.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

From Kabul, 14 families with 66 members have been safely transported to Baghlan, Kunduz and Takhar provinces, and 27,000 Afghanis have been paid to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (305) families and (1323) individuals

Transported refugees: (32) families and (185) individuals

Assisted migrants: (288) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (303) families

Shared SIM Cards: (252) Digits
