Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Sunday, 1446/4/17, which coincides with 1403/7/29, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and were provided necessary services in different areas.
The Full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

16 families returned to the country through Torkham and 75 members of these families have been registered and biometric.

Transportation committee

12 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 61, have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (152,000 Afghanis) is given to 19 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:
Communications: 65-digit SIM cards, with free minutes and internet packages activated, have been distributed to the returned migrants.
In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

27 families with 127 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (202,000) Afghanis will be given to 25 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:
Food: 185 food and water are distributed in Spin Boldak.
Health: 92 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.
Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

77 families whose members were 310 returned to the country and were registered through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province, and also 1058 travelers returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (486,000) Afghanis has been given to 66 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:
Communications: Communications and Information Technology officials have distributed 77 sim cards to the refugees free of charge, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

37 families with 77 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (260,000 Afghanis) has been given to 35 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

1 family from Kabul, the number of members of which was 10 people, has been safely transferred to Paktia Province, and these families have been given (5,000 Afghani) rent.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (157) families and (589) individuals
Deported refugees: (13) families and (71) individuals
Assisted refugees: (145) families
Shared SIM Cards: (142) Digits
