Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Tuesday, 1446/4/19, which coincides with 1403/8/1, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided necessary services in different areas.

The Full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Torkham, 22 families have returned to the country and 140 members of these families have been registered and biometric.

Transportation committee

From Torkham, 15 families with 79 members have been safely transported to Kabul, Kunar and Laghman, and 86,000 Afghani rent has been given to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (168,000 Afghanis) is given to 21 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp:

Food: 180 meals and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 193 returnees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 47 SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet bundles enabled.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

16 families with 89 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

Two 14 families from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar, Ghazni and Helmand provinces and these families have been given 8,000 Afghani rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (146,000 Afghanis) is given to 17 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 188 food and water are distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 68 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 61 sim cards to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

54 families with the number of 216 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 1446 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (370,000 Afghanis) has been given to 48 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communication: 54-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees by the officials of communication and information technology for free, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

140 families with 552 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (1014,000 Afghanis) has been given to 139 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (232) families and (997) individuals

Transported refugees: (17) families and (93) individuals

Assisted migrants: (225) families

Shared SIM Cards: (162) Digits
