Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Wednesday, 1446/4/21, which coincides with 1403/8/2, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

13 families returned to the country through Torkham and 65 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

8 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 42, have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar, and these families have been given (31,000) Afghan rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (142,000) Afghanis is given to 16 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp:

Food: 180 meals and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 177 returned refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 49 SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet bundles enabled.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

38 families with 195 members returned to the country and were registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

Five 25 families from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar, Ghazni and Helmand provinces and these families have been given 6,000 Afghani rent.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (278,000 Afghanis) is given to 35 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 347 food and water are distributed in the White Boldak.

Health: 73 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 128 sim cards to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

48 families with the number of 270 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 1745 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (520,000) Afghanis has been given to 72 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: Communications and Information Technology officials have distributed 78 SIM cards to the refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

123 families with 451 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (84,000) Afghanis has been given to 120 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (222) families and (981) individuals

Transported refugees: (13) families and (67) individuals

Assisted migrants: (243) families

Shared SIM Cards: (255) Digits
